Home and home with Jerry Falwell......

In Lynchburg, VA 10/24/20
In Hattiesburg 9/3/22

Before you have a meltdown we all knew this was going to get scheduled....They have home and homes scheduled with UNT and ODU, as well as Wake Forest, Duke, VT, Virginia, BYU and Syracuse to date. The Flames are also playing Baylor this year in Waco......UMASS is now on deck......

Lets look at what Liberty has to offer.......

Enrollment of 50K
They have their own TV Network for all sports, Liberty Flames Sports Network
They are coached by Turner Gill, former Kansas coach
AD is the former AD at Baylor.....might not be something to brag about
Endowment is over one billion dollars

One interesting note that contradicts our University President......

Liberty and Jerry Falwell oppose homosexual behavior.......so my question to our President......how did you allow this game to get scheduled? This was his statement just one year ago....." I am happy to confirm the University’s continuing commitment to diversity and inclusion, as our path to the top includes a broad spectrum of diverse individuals who challenge each of us to be our best selves and to carry out the mission and vision of The University of Southern Mississippi.".......So the President is willing to allow not only playing but hosting a university that directly contradicts his view for USM as it relates to nondiscrimination.......so which is it, Dr. Bennett?

it's pretty easy to do with tax free god dollars....

we're out of options now....

it was once termed "hardy st, high".....let's see, Fairley and corp are under indictment along with the west side opiate cartel.......toss those out

hmmmmmmmmm......the Hoods love 'em some tennis......

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......name another option without legislative intervention....

we need more USD or this town is completely ****** in 20 yrs once the boomers say **** it or die!

welcome to reality.....
Maybe this will be a rivalry? 03-nutkick

If you're going to play that game, take it a step higher and ask the NCAA why Liberty was allowed membership.

..Trump runs down who Liberty will be playing..."Auburn...Jerry, are you sure you know what you're doing? This could be trouble Jerry...Ole Miss...Oh No Jerry"......

Flames...as in the Pentecost flames or what?

Anyway, it's only a matter of time before these guys schedule Notre Dame and BYU!
...this could be the rivalry we've been waiting for............southern baptists vs Lynchburg baptists.

LET'S GET IT ON!!!!!

So USM has completed their OOC schedules through 2019. 2020 needs one more with the addition of Liberty. Liberty? Liberty???? Liberty will most likely skip the Sunbelt and be in CUSA by then. Geez.

I would imagine the finall OOC game for 2020 will be a 1-AA program? Anyone hear rumors on that?

Anyone hear about the three CUSA East Opponents for next year?

So you think he should practice diversity and inclusion by being exclusive and discriminatory against those that don't agree with his views?
