Just ordered my tickets and was pleasantly surprised to see that there were very few "High Availability" sections.
The tarps are coming down! Count on it.

I think you have the home & away backwards. W7, W8, etc are on the UAB side of the stadium. I'm in section 9 which is one of the low availability sections.

Hopefully ticket sales(season, corporate, single game, etc) will translate to a tremendous crowd...

Do you have the Home/Visitor sides reversed?

Yep, I sure do...
Sat and counted the tickets sold for about half of the stands and counted around 12,000 on rows that are completely sold out. I estimate around 18-22K sold as of right now
That is a good number. You know there will be people that will just show up the day of the game, and but a ticket then.
with the blocked off seats, anybody have any idea what is the total number of seats available for purchase (just curious)

Is that including season tickets?
The site shows every ticket currently listed for sell. Season tickets are already sold so wouldn't be listed for sale.

That said, I would highly recommend taking tickets available with a grain of salt because UAB has a lot of ticket promotions going on and may or may not have already removed blocks of tickets for those promotions for sale even though those tickets may only be partially sold.

The best thing would be to not focus so much on attendance.

No Kidding, seems like a lot of people are more interested in how many people show up vs. winning the game. IF we win attendance will take care of itself
It's easy to see what so many are focused on it. It's all anyone talks about and it's always drilled in our heads. It's a narrative that we need to get away from. I never hear anyone discussing the attendance of anyone else in this region. It's because the trustees and made sure it's their #1 talking point. We can avaerage over 30k and it won't be enough for them so let's not make an issue of it all the time. We win and it' all takes care of itself and nothing will ever be good enough for the Trustees so F them.
& if you put out expectations of 50,000 like Ingram and some others have done you are just setting yourself up for jokes if you don't make it.

Nothing wrong with hoping for that crowd, just that you are giving in to their narrative that we have to meet a certain attendance.
We're rebuilding a program and rebuilding a fanbase. I think the number of season tickets sold is a better indicator of the health of the program.
That said, I think we'll have a good sized walk-up crowd if the weather is nice. Attendance north of 30k is fine by me.
