Looks like this guy who was covering the Big 12 over the past few years started a new AAC specific M-F daily podcast related to the website Best College Sports News Network.

I listened to his first podcast today and he had some very positive things to say about the AAC and it's members.

If we want more AAC specific content like this - like the other P5 conferences have - we should give this podcast a try and increase the audience to show the demand.

Thanks for the info.
The Hulk Hogan theme is clutch.

Good first show. Now that the introduction is out of the way, looking forward to the content going forward.

Do you know the podcaster? I can't find it in overcast and would prefer to have them download automatically rather than check spreaker website and stream
I feel like this would be a good thread to pin, but let's let it get a bit more traction and visibility before we do.

Is it possible we can get a volunteer to provide daily or weekly updates on the podcasts?
Listeneded. Show these media freaks we bring the clicks!

Guy confirms our "tweener" status. A very positive podcast.

I know who it is. Austin Cox. He is a Big 12 alumni (I forget which school) who followed conference realignment for years. I know of him b/c he touted Memphis and Cincinnati to the Big 12 for a long time.

I think at some point, he moved to Memphis, but not sure if he is still there.

Whether or not you agree with his views, he is articulate, and pretty sharp on social media.

lol beat me to it.....im getting slow in my old age.
I enjoyed the podcast. Would still prefer it to downloads automatically on my podcast app but I'll deal with this for now
Good listen.
@C_Austin_Cox. He's tweeting when the show is live as well as AAC news and info. Looks like he's all in. Pretty solid.
P 6 baby!
.
Kinda cool how he was talking today already about the USF on campus stadium proposal.

I'm not used to someone talking about up to the minute ACC news on a daily basis.

Good stuff.
Can we peg the link to the top of the board?

I think we're waiting to see if it gets traction. Day 3 in the books. Good show.

Guy does his research. Solid coverage.
Nice
I have overcast for my podcast player and can add the HTML link directly in there. They now download daily automatically like any other podcast I get off iTunes.

So far it's a great show. I like the 30min length. Not sure how an hour will go but happy to have conference exclusive material to listen to from a national perspective
