Good info. Will get him a lot more exposure. Not sure it will be good for us.

Unless he improves his weaknesses it really doesn't matter. He also isn't option #1.
This kid is what? 7'4? Something like that . . . In my opinion, if you have the chance to get a commit from a kid who is that tall and has even some basketball skill, you take that every time you can get it. Especially when the coach is Tubby. You redshirt him to put some weight on him while working on his overall game. There aren't many kids who are that tall and have some baskeball skill. Again and since Tubby is the coach you get him to commit.

Agree. The kid is intriguing.
Let me expand on what I mean "since Tubby is the coach". I mean that you let Tubby coach him up as much as he can. There's no doubt that Tubby is a very very good coach.
Just remember UCF is nothing without Taco......height can matter a great deal even if the skill level is relatively low.
I remember what Dana Kirk said about Todd Mundt; "you can't teach 7-foot". Todd went on to have a nice NBA career.
Conner is a three star according to 24/7 and ESPN. We might have an opportunity to sign him since we know Tubby lately cannot sign consensus 4 or 5 stars.

He's incredibly tall. When he visited he was 4-5 inches taller than Chad and that type of height is unique. If he has any skills or coordination you want him. Other teams simply cannot prepare for that King
cannot prepare for that type of size of size
Yup. I echo pretty much all the replies on here. You gotta have him redshirt tho.

I agree. Have seen him play @ UCF the past 2 seasons. He was somewhat ineffective his first season, but I believe it was technically his first season of basketball period. He did much better last year. He learned really quick to just get to the basket and swing your arms and good things happen. Had it not been for him we would have beaten UCF the past two seasons rather easily. If he improves over the off-season he could definitely average a double-double this season, and could help carry UCF throughout this upcoming season.

UCF has done a good job helping Taco get stronger. Whoever lands Conner would do well to copy the program that UCF used to help Taco.
Conner, unlike Fall, is a good three point shooter. We could use him this year since our team is bereft of proven outside shooters.

They finished 4th last year. I wouldn't be surprised to see them move up if he's improved half as much this year as he did last year.

If I ever coached a 7'4 dude and he wanted to shoot threes, I would instruct the closest player to him to rack him the first time he took a shot.

Must have been a long season.

Todd Mundt (born May 17, 1970 in Iowa City, Iowa) is a retired American professional National Basketball Association player. He played college basketball at Delta State University and University of Memphis. He was a 7'0" center.

In 1995-96, Mundt played for the Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks.

Conner is not noted for his physical dominance in the paint. The articles I read cite his shooting as his main asset.
