I actually think that's the best, most rational, humble and thoughtful I've ever heard Carey speak! Well done! 04-cheers

Acclimazation isn't a word but acclimatization is. I can't get the link to work for me though...

Much like Rod did, I transposed the z and t
Never lose your job over injury, It seems to me Macintosh lost his job to Hare that way.
Opening starter was Macintosh in 2014 and then was banged up.

Macintosh never fully won the job. Hare outplayed him and won the competition when we beat Northwestern. Had Macintosh stayed instead of transferred he would have had some great opportunities.

Yup, it's not that Macintosh really lost the job more that Hare won it vs Northwestern. Beating a BIG10 team on the road will do that.

Same thing could happen this year at Nebraska week 3...I hope!

Able to watch the video now, I agree he's gotten a little better at the little speeches, of course it's too early in training for him to provide much insight on the players and upcoming season. I do think that if we get some solid QB play we could surprise some people. The expectations seem to be low for NIU this year, from outside the university that is.
I never really thought that Maddie got as much of a chance as the other two - he looked a little better than the chances he was given, IMO. Certainly he didn't play himself out of the job at Northwestern.
I Hope they Redshirt Rodney Hall. I like that they think he's getting better but don't use him until you're forced to. Sit him out till his mechanics catch up with his talent.

Coaches have a pretty good idea about which players will break out and be productive based on their work in the offseason.

With 3 other QBs getting reps I'm sure they will.

I was at that NU game and MacIntosh played so poorly Carey had no choice to try someone else. He had trouble completing any first downs. Hare played well but not spectacular and really that is all we needed for that game.

Trevor Semien was the qb for NU and I was equally unimpressed with his play. Still surprised he has progressed so much and has chance to be Denver starter.

I'd say he absolutely is redshirting.
