My Twitter feed was filled with comments and images today. It was AMAZING!
Congrats Terps. looks awesome
All I can say is that I'm stunned by the school administration's sudden support and enthusiasm for college football. When I attended Maryland, in the early 1980s, the administration ignored the sport. This lack of support led Bobby Ross to resign and take the job at Georgia Tech who went on to win a national championship in 1990.
Not to sound snarky but is this the Terps first indoor practice facility for football?

Yes. I imagine it took the financial crisis for the school administration to recognize how important the football program was to the funding of non-revenue sports and the overall financial health of the athletic department.
Maryland has a great basketball, LaCrosse and Soccer tradition. With facilities like this, Maryland is in the football recruiting big league now also.

We're finally getting it done. It just took the administration more than 30 years to realize their indifference towards football was killing the athletic department.
I only wish the facility was as stunning and modern in appearance as the Northwestern lakeside athletic facilities. I love the sleek arches, glass walls and lake view.
