There was one new name on the Tigers’ roster Thursday: Cornerback Tim Gordon, a junior college transfer from Fullerton College.

The 6-foot, 185-pounder recorded 51 tackles, two interceptions and 16 pass breakups last season for Fullerton, which was 12-1. Gordon enrolled at Eastern Michigan out of high school, appearing in 12 games in 2015 after redshirting as a freshman.

“He’s a corner that I think’s going to be able to come in and also provide a great deal of depth,” Norvell said.

Gordon has two seasons of eligibility remaining. He had also once signed with NORTH DAKOTA STATE.

.HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Cretin Derham Hall High School in Saint Paul, Minn...Played under Head Coach Mike Scanlan as a Raider...Ranked as a two-star recruit by ESPN and Rivals.com...Rated as the 44th-best player in the state of Minnesota by Maxpreps.com...Named first team all-state as a senior by the Associated Press...Had five interceptions and 18 pass breakups as a junior...Ran a 4.51 in the 40-yard dash.
Interesting.
Welcome to the party!
It is a good quality addition considering the late date.
Given Coach's recent praise for the speed, talent, and depth at DB, is Gordon on scholly?
Good to hear. Does he have to sit this year? 2 years of eligibility indicates he may not be a grad transfer and would thus have to sit - unless he took last year off and the NCAA has already cleared him.

EDIT: NM, I see that he's a juco. I thought he came from EMU.
I think since he is a JUCO transfer, he can play immediately. I thought one of the most interesting things about him was that he was recruited and got an offer from North Dakota State which is a pretty good football school.
The Bison have won 13 National Championships and 33 Conference Championships and won five-consecutive NCAA Division I-FCS National Championships between 2011 and 2015. NDSU is the only college football program to ever win five consecutive NCAA national championships. In regards to overall record, post-season play, and titles won over the past 5 years; the NDSU Bison Football program is known as one of the greatest dynasties in college football history.

I am not sure of how many times NDSU has been here to Frisco to play in the FCS National Championship game but.....it has been more than once. They have a great fan base too and basically filled up most of TOYOTA STADIUM here. The Philadelphia Eagles traded up to get the No. 2 pick in the 2016 NFL draft, North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz.
Is this Dude a lock down corner

If you base anything on tonight... other than we have some very fast RBs, you are crazy.
There were times I think his feet were locked down to the turf.
We need a lock down corner and a Dude who can BLITZ the q.b.
Paxton had a lot of trouble with the Blitz

Yeah right. I will send an email to the coaching staff and tell them to ignore everything on the game tape. But they have probably destroyed it already.

I'm afraid our secondary will suck again this year...saw enough already.
