#90 - UCF@
#91 - Cincinnati
#97 - Memphis*@
#110 - USF*@

*-AAC teams we play.
@-AAC bowl teams from 2016.

Summary - We have all 6 home games versus teams that went to a bowl in 2016. 9 of the 12 regualr season games are with bowl teams from 2016.

Phil Steele also rates "toughest schedules" each year. TU's 2016 schedule was rated #85 out of 128 teams last year (and imo part of that was distorted because of our NC A@T game). But this year we improved greatly to number 64. Only one AAC team had a better schedule than us - ECU (#63) and only one nonconference team on our schedule had a tougher schedulle than us - Ok St (#26).

Our nonconference opponents schedules - Toledo (#92), Louisiana (#107) and New Mexico (#87) were all rated below ours - of course with the exception of Ok St (#26).

Since my name isn't actually "rabidTU" I think I can give my unsolicited opinions from time to time, not carrying whether its read or not. Well, here goes nothin.

TU should have a scheduling "policy" of only home and home (1 for 1) game deals/contracts.

On the rivals site several fans are giving their approval to the OSU series which is one sided FOR the school in Stillwater. So rather than post there, where several OSU fans "pretend" to be TU fans, I will justy vent here!

The overriding reason for a 1 for 1 contract alternating between Tulsa nd Stillwater is that OSU deeply needs to play in Tulsa on a yearly basis. Its in their best long term program interests to do so. Tulsa has everything Stillwater doesn't including a metropolitan media market market, a large alumni base who don't always travel to sport events and a lot of non-sports alumni that could become sport enthusiasts.

TU has all that OSU hasn't, but lacks the numbers. So IMO OSU needs Tulsa more than Tulsa needs OSU. If OSU wants to play us, it needs to be 1 for 1, period. There are a lot of teams we could make a lot more money from without playing an OSU or Arkansas. If Gragg keeps doing this, he needs to find another job - period!
