#AAC commish Aresco on possible future rights partners. They've met with FB, Twitter, have meetings coming up with other streaming providers

I wouldn't say it's forward thinking. The Mountain West already beat us to Twitter.
Time for ESPN to orchestrate a raid. Aresco and Co are getting too wise.

Aresco came in advertised as a media visionary. I've expected nothing less than this from him.

Considering where sports are right now with TV deals and such. This would be forward thinking. It would be great to have our games easily accessible to those without cable subscriptions as long as it does not come at a loss of revenue.

The thing is, they can't. Not until their rights are up. They are locked into the worst media deal in the history of college sports.

He's a visionary in the same way that I envision myself winning the lottery.
True... a lot of talk so far, and...

...

...but I'm glad he's finally trying SOMETHING (outside of that bogus "P6" slogan)
Perhaps there is really nothing more he could do in his 5 years so far but he has accomplished the same things we all could have as Commish in his time here. Although we may not have had the vision to start the silly P6 talk.
