It's a shame the two most likely NY6 candidates from the AAC have the weakest schedule. That might cause issues later in the season.
USF
Tulsa

It's a shame that WKU is on that list. The AAC beats itself up and then loses that chance at the NY6 bowl.

That's all part of the P5's plan.

Well a couple of years ago the media were all ready to give that slot to Marshall, and their SOS was a joke...

No they weren't. The media ripped that POS schedule to shreds. Marshall couldn't even get into the CFP top 25 for several weeks after is debuted.
I'm going with USA Today and ESPN articles that both list Tulsa as the team to break the NY6 bowl.

I definitely recall ESPN and many in the media 'talking up' Marshall... Most on these message boards were ripping that POS schedule... Most here thought it was on purpose, to push down the perception of the AAC and support their 'G5' concept. Which is totally believable...
I would prefer Boise St (obviously) but for the sake of the non-power schools, it should be the best which I would define as the best record with the best strength of schedule. I don't want to see a school get embarrassed because that can only set the non-power schools back a bit (Georgia over Hawaii, 41-10, 2008 Sugar Bowl; Florida St over Northern Illinois, 31-10, 2013 Orange Bowl).

I know the score was close, but the game was never close between WMU and Wisconsin, last year. What a boring game.
1. Houston
2. USF
3. Tulsa
4. Navy
5. Memphis

Source? I don't recall much of that at all. I seem to recall them being ripped to shreds. The polls reflected that as well.
Going off the list, App State. It would be interesting if they go 12-0 with a Ga and Wake Wins. Committee showed 13 games really don't matter with OSU last year. Logically, I think Boise and USF are the two favorites.

Irony.

Boise will not win their Division for the third straight year. They have lost five conference games in two years, and lose a lot of production. Hope I am wrong. A 10-2/11-1 SDSU vs 10-2/11-1 Boise would be ideal.
ECU certainly has the strength of schedule this year. Prediction: ECU will finish the regular season and conf. championship 12-1 losing only to UConn, knocking us out of the top 4 and having to settle for the #6 spot.

LOL... Only in your little world that ^^^ would be.

But back to the real reality mwc fan... It starts and ends with the AAC... Only time any of the G4's will get it (NY6 Bowl) is when the AAC knocks itself out... C'mon you know this already, man.

Uh, yea, so your "knock itself out" scenario is exactly what happened to the MW last year when Boise and SDSU both lost to conference opponents in the last game of the season, or else the scenarios I laid out above would have happened. Boise would have been 11-1 with SDSU 10-2. Unfortunately, Boise lost to the same team that beat up your West Division Champ.

Regarding your NY6 comment, the facts dispute your perception my friend. You have one NY6 game. Same number as the MAC. Chill out with the emotions. Stop letting them dictate your own version or reality.
