There is another potential screw-up zone coming up with these. In today's single-game ticket release it states:

Quote:The reserved tailgate passes are $95 for the 2017 season and will be allocated based on the Blazer Boosters Priority Point System beginning Monday, July 24.

Which would likely mean out spots could be scattered all over the area and not contiguous.

I don't know why they try to reinvent the wheel setting up train wrecks all the time. The previous method worked fine, there was no reason to change.

So, I need to know who of you that want to be included within the BlazerTalk tailgating area have actually reserved a spot. I will need your name and how many spots you reserved to try to get all of our spots allocated together, instead of seperately. You may post in this thread or send me a pm if you don't want to publish the info publicly.

If you haven't reserved spots, but intend to, please do so immediately.

I am trying to secure one today but I'm 7 hours ahead of Alabama so having a hard time getting in touch

Things like this bring out my "the BOT is still trying to sabotage us" paranoia. But it's probably just incompetency.

Update:

I just got off the phone with the Athletic Department.

Spaces are going to be allocated in Donor's points order, but they will work with us to get enough contiguous spaces to not be cramped as a group.

I will have to get them a list of names to be designated as part of our group, so they can try to allow for those as donor's are called to make their space selection.

I can't stress this enough, if you haven't gotten a space and intend to, please do so as quickly and, let us know as soon you can so we can get you added to our group list.


As of this minute, I am aware of only 6 spots actually reserved; 3 direct commitments to purchase spots soon; and 4 earlier pledges to reserve spots that I am unsure if they actually got purchased.

Our goal was for initially 12 spots to allow enough elbow room anticipating larger numbers due to larger attendance.

I got my tailgate spot some time ago when I did my season tickets. I did tell them to stick me w/ BT as we had discussed leading up to it

Because they do it elsewhere means it automatically works here. You are dealing with the smartest man in Athletics.

...except the place doing it, had already stopped doing it because it was an awkward process.

Talked with Brad. Make sure you tell them what specific group you want to be with and they will work it out.

BlazerTalk for us. Some are Greenhouse. Etc.

Be sure you let Jay here know as well he will turn a final list in.

Tell them you want to be with Blazertalk. If you get anything other than ok we will make sure you are with that group I want to know what they said and get their name. PM me and I will pass it along.

I assume Jeffrey will reaffirm mine? I did tell them when I got my tickets back months ago like we had discussed but as said above paranoid of another failure by our AD over something so simple

I will not be getting a spot. It came down to that or the seatbacks, and mama wanted the seatbacks.
