No
He be a 3rd-6th round pick if drafted but him getting drafted will be good for recruiting.

If he goes top 5 we had one HELL of a year.
If Riley goes in the Top 5, then we're going to the Peach Bowl this year.

Fox Sports disagrees with you.

Riley Ferguson Mock Draft
No, but it should help with recruiting future QB's.
We are going to see one hell of a quarterback battle in September when UCLA comes to town.

Like.....Jared Goff from Cal? QBs go early all the time and often from schools who do diddly squat. It's all ability and potential not NCAA accolades. Just ask Tebow.
Drafted in the 1st round would be huge. Top 5 would be fantastic, but I do think we'd have to have an amazing season. The QBs from USC, Auburn, Wyoming, and UCLA are pretty darn good too. That being said only Riley is a Senior. All the others could use at least 1 more season to hone their craft.

They project him going early in the 2nd round; the 41st player taken. That website takes a looong time to download.

"The Golden Boy" is the first in pro football history to win the Heisman Trophy, be selected as the first overall selection in the NFL Draft, win the NFL most valuable player award, and be inducted into both the professional and college football halls of fame.

His two touchdowns on offense and two interceptions on defense spurred a victory over No. 4 Navy, and his touchdown pass and field goal beat Iowa. In a loss to Southern California, Hornung ran and threw for 354 yards, the best in the nation in 1955.

His team went went 2-8 the year he won the Heisman.

I think Johnny Majors was 2nd in the voting that year.

never really got a chance. Chip's biggest mistake was not letting Tebow run his offense.
Tebow was born to run an offense like that.

I think Johnny Majors was 2nd in the voting that year.

A triple-threat tailback at the University of Tennessee, one of the last schools to use the single-wing rather than some version of the T formation, Majors was an All-American and runner-up for the Heisman Trophy in 1956.

Majors lost the Heisman Trophy to Paul Hornung, who starred for Notre Dame, which had a losing record (2–8). To date, this is the only time the Heisman Trophy has been awarded to a player on a losing team.

Many fans of college football, particularly Tennessee fans, believe that Hornung won the Heisman because he played for the storied Notre Dame program, although Hornung did lead his team in passing, rushing, scoring, kickoff and punt returns, punting, and passes broken up and was second in interceptions and tackles made.

Yep.
He is a great NCAA quarterback but I think his lack of mobility is a killer as far as pro prospects go. He is deadly when he has no pressure and mediocre when he does. I wouldn't be surprised if he is a high pick but he isn't able to evade much pressure.
