Not liking that water feature at all. Feels very gimmicky to me, everything else looks great though!

Leave your trunks at home. You are not allowed to take your weekly bath when you visit!
I love the waterfalls. They pay homage to the natural scenery in Arkansas. They have been featured in baseball stadiums, but are unique to football stadiums. I'm all for being different without having to use colored turf.
All these renderings sure do make me miss playing those NCAA football video games. Looks good.

I like it. KC Royals have a water fixture. LA Angels have a rock/water fixture. It brings in some natural elements like NMST's Xeriscape and it is a hell of a lot better than UCA's Purple/grey field.
I don't know how I feel about the water park, but the project will definitely be a boone to centennial bank. Congrats on the announcement. SBC is movin' on up!

Wouldn't really call it a water park. I mean kids aren't going down slides or anything.

It's an Arkansas thing. We're known as the Natural State and Water Falls play a key role in the states rivers. We're simply paying homage to that.

It's also critically designed to take up the remaining space between where the current stands end and the North End Zone project begins, so we're not staring at this ugly patch of grass in a weird spot.
water falls don't phase me either way just glad we're finally moving forward with this it's a project badly needed for a long time
Not sure if I like the water feature either. The sound of running water during a football game? Hmm.

Either way, this is a good addition for StAte.

When does groundbreaking begin? Seems like a tight frame to have that facility built by the 2018 season.
I think its great, timing is great too. Since we don't have any P5s like Missouri or a Miami coming to town for a few years, we can promote the new area instead of a marquee opponent. We have to keep up with Troy, UL, App etc. Will be great for recruiting.

I don't exactly dig the water feature either. Too much maintenance, and I agree a little gimmicky. I hope they reconsider. I guess we could use it to bring in a couple of sponsors from a pool company and a mosquito sprayer.
The waterfall is going to be one of those features a select few will criticize in a rendering, but will praise when they see it in person.
Is than an IPF behind the endzone?

New ops building to be built behind the end zone. Behind that is the IPF which is currently already there.

Fortunately our stadium is rarely quiet enough to hear the running water.

I like it. Looks good. Premium seating is where we all must push toward.

Evaporative cooling is a nice side effect.

I guess it's just a confusing feature. It would make sense if y'all were alluding to the fact that Jonesboro has a swamp or a river running through it, but since y'all don't, it just seems like an unnecessary way to take up space.

It's a good use of dead space. Better than looking at concrete.
