If the plans for LSU-Shreveport and NW State, Louisiana to merge? You may need to replace LSU-Shreveport with another school. SE Oklahoma State or Southern Arkansas to take their place.

Elon seems to not have much success ot fan support to be FBS. Western Carolina does.

Elon seems to not have much success ot fan support to be FBS. Western Carolina does.
WCU has a tiny endowment and is not accessible. At least Elon is right next to Greensboro. Elon has ambitions, as shown by its move to the CAA, and a new expandable stadium.
But if North Carolina got another FBS team, think it would be UNC-Wilmington, but far in the future.
