Time wise how would this play into Western's summer basketball trip?

WKU trip to Costa Rica is not until August. So it would not effect the WKU trip as the World Cup competition itself is in July should Robinson make the final roster.

It would effect his summer workout program with rest of the WKU roster though as he would not be on campus until after the World Cup. Unless he does not make the final roster, then he will be in Bowling Green towards the end of June.
Still won't believe until I see it, but it sure would be cool to see some players of this caliber in CUSA.

I don't think he will be the best player in the post for Western. Most upside, for sure. Western had a 6'9 (4 star) sitting out last year that is more polished offensively and more physical....play and body.

Western will have just about a whole new team this year...other than 3 minor role players from last year.

JJ is playing football...yep, 2nd team all conference and he chose football. Suppose to join the basketball team in Jan. I doubt if he will.

I love that WKU thinks these transfers are going to dominate. Kinda like Pancake, Junior and Willie C, huh?

Point out where you see the world dominate? Hell point out where you see anything about winning?

Let's see how these transfers do and rejoin this conversation in Jan.....Diagne, Bearden, Thompson, Coleby mixed with our freshman are light years more talented than we have had at WKU in a long time...Will this translate to a lot of wins? fingers crossed it will as this overall talent has not been seen at WKU in a long time.....Everyone else though keep on saying out talent is overrated, soon enough we will all find out....
Talent isn't overrated.
Your staff's ability to coach it is, though.
Western had some talent last year.
They also had no-heart pansies playing hero ball and refusing to play defense.
And Stans kept letting them do it night after night.
That's what would worry me if I'm a Western fan.

No where near what we have this upcoming season and its not even close...We had 0 point guards this past season and really 0 point guards in Harper's tenure...Bearden can be the real deal at point like he has shown in his career, everything else will fall in place....Talent is unprecedented coming in to next season.....Seems to be a lot of opinions on how it will go...Staff will need this team to get used to playing together, figure out rotations and get our guys to play defense....Talented players are also better at playing defense...

I agree we had guys playing hero ball. It does worry me but I said it to my friends last year. We had to ride or die with those guys (we had no one else). But mainly we stans would lose recruiting battles for all the grad transfers if he doesn't play them last year. Last year was going to be a lost cause once the season started and we realized how bad we were (losing by 80 to the last place pac12 team)
