Scary how many signees from the last two classes didn't make it.

Took a lot of chances...
Under Clark, it doesn't matter as much, as he has a A=Plan, B-Plan, etc. when it comes to recruiting. He replaces a good player with another good player.

That is sort of bs. We replaced players from LSU and Notre Dame with players where we were their only d1 offer. I love Coach Clark as much as anyone else, but dont pretend that the players replacing the recruits we lost are as good as those recruits, you are just setting yourself up for disappointment.
Bill Clark @CoachBillClark

Big time recruits on campus all weekend. #WTD #theReturn
We were the only D-1 offer for JJ Nelson and Jordan Howard, just saying!
For every Nelson and Howard, there are dozens who are just barely good enough to stay in any midmajor program for the whole 4 seasons of play. UAB is one of those programs that can take some measure of satisfaction when a few of our players are good enough to go on to play at the NFL level. FBHC Clark appears to have very good judgement when choosing players to receive offers, and I hope he continues to be successful in his talent selections. The next step is to meld these into an effective TEAM.
Pretty good class happy to see 19 out of the 25 here hopefully we'll get the full class in soon.
Nelson and Howard were not Clark recruits. The sample size on Clarks recruits is too small

Yeah, I guess that's my point, we just don't know enough yet. We may be good, we may bad, and there is no way for any of us to know until after this team has been bloodied. All that is left to us until then amounts to reading tea leaves. My reading of those leaves is that getting to 6 wins and bowl eligiblity would be an amazing accomplishment, and that just kicking the ball off the first week is the only win that matters this year.
Looks like we've just offered M. Hall, hopefully he commits.
