I expected him to step down, tho I don't remember It happening. It'd be kinda weird having him stay.
I agree.
Well, they have.... wait they actually haven't been interviewing for the job, but they have talked about filling the position. So no, Keelon is not still with Memphis. Not sure why they aren't returning calls yet, but they are taking applications.
What?
"It’s a transfer society we live in, but I think we’re missing the boat that we’re really teaching kids, when the going gets tough, hit the road,” Izzo said."

In a word: no.
When Easterwood often tells me I'm a "Dumazz Football Only fan" I know he really means it with love.
Assistant coaches and staff contracts usually run from July 1st to June 30th, so he probably is technically on staff until the end of June.

If they're really going after a recruiting coordinator, they could be doing the smart thing. Work the deal out in private, but don't make it official until summer is about over. That way, the guy can work the summer circuit without NCAA restrictions.

I know you don't honestly believe that is what they are doing.

Wouldn't be the first time a program has done this. I don't know if they are or are not. It's possible though.
