Man..... the hits keep coming....

While not my favorite Bond...

The Spy Who Loved Me

Octopussy

For Your Eyes Only

were my favorites.

His only really crappy one IMO, was Moonraker.
Moonraker was my first Bond movie I ever saw

seemed like a classy guy

Ironically, I couldn't stand that one. The cheekiness of it was too much... IMO Live and Let Die suffered from the same issue. Now, A View to a Kill was borderline IMO but at least it had Christopher Walken, Grace Jones, and Tanya Roberts in it.
Moore died before Connery, I'd never have guessed that. First "Official" Bond to die, if you don't count Peter Sellers from the original Casino Royale. Meanwhile, George Lazenby is drinking a beer somewhere in Australia.

The crazy thing about Lazenby is he starred in a critical movie for the franchise, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, where we see Bond get married and then Teresa gets killed... the only thing similar was Craig and Eva Green on screen...

*********

I also couldn't really get into The Man With the Golden Gun, even though I felt it was better than Live and Let Die and Moonraker.
Here's to you Sir Roger.

I think that was the one with Jaws as a villain and the motorcycle in the luge type thing with ice.

I was a long time ago I saw it as a kid and haven't seen it since.

You might be right, I haven't watched in a while... but Jaws was in it... and he gets a "Sweedish" girlfriend and they go into space as part of the villian's master plan of creating the prefect human race with all these great genes... and I believe his space station would drop seeds down to the earth causing infertility so only his space station specimens would be left to reproduce.
There's a great documentary on George Lazenby on Hulu right now. It's actually pretty entertaining and it is NOT PG13 type stuff.

Moore was older than Connery.
