Can someone please let me know when or if you see the NIU bag chairs this year at Costco? I would like to get one. I am not on the board a lot right now - offseason & very busy working on the Diesel Memorial Project - but if you send me a pm I will be notified.
Also, if anyone sees NIU canopies that would also be appreciated. There are still people looking for one.

You might be able to find similar items at Dick's Sporting Goods. They're usually stocked with B1G/Notre Dame stuff, but I do see NIU merchandise on occasion. Think I saw some canvas chairs not too long ago, decent quality too.

I am specifically looking for the NIU bag chairs that Costco carries - like the ones they had last year. They are taller & easier for me to get up out of them with my bad knees. (Gettin' old ain't for sissies, believe me!)
We have 2 NIU canopies - can never have too many, right? lol
I did see those canopies at DeKalb Walmart last year. Hopefully they have them again for people who might need one. :-)
For everyone who still wants them, I sure hope Costco re-stocks the canopies and chairs. The canopies by Coleman are well made and high quality. The original canopies had the dog head logo, and the last group they carried had the newer NIU (letters) logo. Maybe if enough people contacted Costco, they'd bring them back. Of course, it would help if more people attended the games and there would be a greater need for the canopies, but that's another story.

Oh yes, football season. Hey, the Walmart chairs are not bad if you want to save $20-$30 chair. I bought a couple of the Costco chairs (they are durable and very nice). For half the price you can get the Wal-Mart chairs. I picked up a few for my kids or extra guests who show up for tailgating. Either way, buy as many of either as you can. It only helps the NIU.

I do not think we're going to see anything at Costco this year....
I believe in prior years this these items have been there before Fathers Day which is almost here.Passed through Bloomingdale location and there was nothing.
And by nothing that includes Bears....Notre Dame ....which have usually been part of the mix of chairs, tents,coolers.
