Sorry if pope.

Looks like Parker Stewart from Union City, TN has "unofficially" asked out if his LOI from Ole Miss. The assistant that recruited him there is now with Will Wade at LSU, but I believe this has more to do with playing time (partially thanks to the Rebs landing Markel).

Parker is a 3-star SG. Chose Ole Miss over K-State and Nebraska. Played for Team Penny...

Wonder if Memphis gets involved. Class of 2017.

I saw where Mark Ginnatto tweeted that. I would prefer having four scholarships available to offer for 2018. It seems we are recruiting several really good ones, so I would hate to only have three to offer and sign. Now if this kid is something special then by all means get him. I don't know anything about him.

It was discussed in the SalRivs thread, but probably deserves its own thread.

Anybody seen him play?

Great question!! Has anybody seen him play? My kind of question.
Yes, he's a legit 6'4-6'5, can SHOOT the 3 ball! Really nice stroke from distance. His dad is the HC at UT Martin.

A shooter. O how life would improve with one good shooter.
Funny I thought Jamal Johnson could shoot.

I heard from someone close to the program that Tubby believes Jamal can be a very good shooter.

Didn't you also show major love for the D2 player before Saul offered?

Didn't you show major love to the 7 year wonder who's at GT now?

No response? So you're telling us you did.

Too easy. I knew you wouldn't be able to resist. You were the same way a few years back. I'll answer the question I asked you. YES you showed MAJOR Love to wonder boy.

As for your lame azz question. No, I didn't show major love to the kid you are talking about. Did I have some positive things to say about him after looking at videos of him? Yes I did.

Is it wrong or a message board crime to say something positive about a potential recruit? And here's a better question, why is it wrong to say Jamal Johnson is a good shooter? Why does that irk you?
I never understand why people even comment about mixtapes, its a highlight video, of course you are going to come away impressed. When have you ever seen a highlight video that shows a kids weaknesses? You wont. Again, look at the schools that are offering kids, that will tell you all you need to know.

As far as shooters go, that's a huge concern . . . one that is echoed by the staff. They have kids who are decent shooters (JJ and DN) but no one who is a lights out knock down shooter.

Yeah sure. So we should outlaw making positive comments about a highlight video. Wow. If a person can't look at a highlight of a player and comment that it looks like the kid is fast, or it looks like the kid can jump high, or it looks like the kid has good shooting form....then something is screwed up. It is ridiculous not to look at a tape of a player and evaluate what he can do. Furthermore if you don't think coaches are looking at videos of players you aren't thinking clearly.

Your posts are goofy sometimes.
I'm saying that in a mixtape all you are going to see is positives (That is a fact as well), whats so hard to understand about that? Also why do you take things so personal? I wasn't talking to you specifically. My god Joe, you are getting annoying and argumentative just for the fact of being argumentative . . . and please don't message me on twitter to explain yourself (or bash other posters like you have done in messages to me over twitter), frankly I don't care about your opinion on other posters.

Please for the love of Christ in heaven, quit following me on twitter then. You don't see me following you on twitter do you?

Great Scott I don't need an explanation of a highlight video. What's so hard to understand that you can see what a player can do from a highlight video??? Wow
You obviously don't understand the term "highlight" then lol. On to the next one . . .

Why would a grad transfer which will be there one year have an effect on a 3 star playing time. The 3 star is not a one and done and most likely would be limited in playing time anywhere he goes as a freshman.

Those numbers tend to work themselves out almost always, especially if it is just one scholarship that needs to be freed up. We need a shooter on the roster so if this can shoot they need to go after him!
