Selig announced today. WOW! money talks, BS walks. I'm going to have a hard time adjusting to this one. Liberty pretty much represents much of what's wrong with a form of Christianity that's been perverted by greed.Don't really want to be associated in any form.

I actually don't think we have mods anymore.
I thought our schedule was full for 2018. Who are we dropping? Hopefully the FCS game.

The schedule as posted in the article appears to have a 3 week gap between games Sept.. 1 then Sept 22 ?
It is possible to disagree with someone without detesting those with whom we disagree.
Liberty University and its students and graduates as a whole wouldn't think much of my personal politics. But I'd be very surprised if I ever encountered one who viewed me as their enemy.
I find it a real shame that so many on the progressive side of the ledger, particularly (at least in my observation) millennials, seem to think that disagreement equals hate. I'd like to think that we are better than that.

We need the FCS game to potentially help with Bowl Eligibility. 2018 game at UVA is moving to 2019. We were supposed to host Buffalo in 2019 with a return in 2020 but the 2019 game is MIA. We have 3 openings in 2021 that it could be moved to.

But it ruins the away/home sequence we had with UVA and VTech. Now we're playing then both away in the same year, making it harder to win either of those games. As far as I can see, this move is a lose/lose/lose for us.

Just that nobody had made any such comments and you were the first to bring it up and how you detest it. Found it ironic but I struggle with the definition.
But yeah I'll have to keep a closer eye on this thread. I don't like to micro mod, we're all mostly adults.

Liberty took our spot at UVA in 2018.
2019 should be the only year we play at Tech and UVA (if FBS schedules is right)
If true then this looks like a very nice addition to the schedule.
Many have complained on here over the past few years about how there were so few away games within easy driving distance over the course of the season due primarily to the vast separation of teams within CUSA. Well, here is an away game against a D1 opponent that is a short drive from Norfolk.
Also, ODU should not have any excuses about losing the game against this Liberty team that will be in the early stages of transitioning from D2 to D1. If we want to be conference champions like past Marshall teams or last seasons WKU team then games like this should be easy wins.
