Nice to see someone finally speak the truth about Joey Joney.
I agree the rankings could be different. We'll see at the end of the season.
Is Joey Jones the new Watson Brown?
Seems to save himself with 1-2 big wins a year...
or with displaced UAB players.

Hopefully that will never again be a factor for any coach in the future.

Seriously, how did a coach defeat Miss State and San Diego State and then have the season record USA had?
he sucks would be my guess.

I've been saying those exact words for years, blaze. He's not that good and they will be perpetually 5-7 and 6-6 until they fire Joey Jones. They always have a dozen injuries before the season starts and very few returning starters every year. It reeks of a plug and play transfer strategy and a bad strength and conditioning program. There's lots of potential in Mobile, but with Joey Jones at the helm it will never materialize.

Let's also not ignore the hand up that Bill Clark has given to Jones' career at USA. He's a much better coach than Jones. Much respect for Clark.

We almost made the mistake of going after Joey. I know the bear turd planted that seed in Mackin's head.
