{edited}I'm looking at the bottom 20 and I see 2 Memphis opponents (plus we play a FCS team). Hopefully this means we'll be racking up the Ws this season. I wonder if Tulane and UL-M will make the bottom 30?

112. Idaho
113. UNLV
114. UTEP
115 Coastal Carolina

125. UMASS
126. Charlotte
127. New Mexico State
128. Buffalo
129. Texas State

The TIGERS don't play Temple or Cincinnati this year; they rotated off. If you want to see weak, look at USF's schedule.

man, that kinda sucks as I REALLY enjoyed watching us beat up on Cincy...and you're not kidding, USF could end up with 10-11 regular season wins.
I am surprised about Temple's drop-off.

It was precipitous.

Are they really going to be that bad?

Hard to tell with a new coach and some key players lost.

That's basically them making a huge assumption our QB is going to suck. Yeah, we're replacing all of our LBers, but they've all played. Secondary is intact. Pass rushers are a bit of a concern, but there is talent there. Offensive line is a big question, but we have great WRs and RBs. Might be more quick hitting offense than 20+ yard passes.

I don't see us going worse than 6-6, which isn't #111 in the country.

Good to read, thanks for the update.
No problem.
We can be a top 10 team, if we play it right. That is why excitement is in the air for the football team.
Our team, dare I say, has a legitimate opportunity to earn the coveted Access Bowl slot reserved for the G-5.
We get an extra day to prepare for Navy, which is crucial, but then we have to go from defending against the wishbone for 8 days to a road game at Houston 5 days later.

Western Kentucky is on point to get that.

WKU's stud QB is back for his senior year but they lose their top RB (1,700 yds) and top 2 WRs. I think they'll not be as good as last year.

That is going to be a tough transition. Different game plan, short week, travel, division opponent.
110 Rice Owls

109 Iowa State Cyclones.

108. UL-Laf

And WKU has a new coaching staff........can make for an inconsistent transition.

We're in a good position. WKU has to be like WMU and run the table - and hope that the AAC champ has more than 1 loss - to get the slot. We're in position that our conf champ can lose a game and still get the slot. A 12-1 AAC champ will MTL get the slot ahead of a 13-0 champ from any other G5 league.

Last year there were 3 teams ranked at end of season. WMU had the G5 slot with their 13-0 record ranked in the top 15. The AAC had the other two G5 representatives with Temple and Navy both sitting with 3 losses each.

They had an OL that went in the 2nd round too (Forrest Lamp) and one of those WR's was a 3rd round pick (Taywan Taylor). They were a really, really good team last year and will be this year as well.
