I am not seeing any Bearcats. Oh how we fallen from our winning days.
Wilson or Tyson may go in the later rounds... and that's about it.

This is what happens when He Who Shall Not Be Named took the helm and then abandoned ship. Well, forced to walk the plank. Gunner Kiel was a causality of the [former] Captain's Mess.
Speaking of draft talent, of the 64 players taken in the first two rounds, 21 were from the SEC. Apparently this is an NFL draft record to have that many drafted from one conference. FWIW, I'm hoping Garrett is a stud to bring some big time, impact talent to the Browns who need, well, some talent.

SEC Draft Record

This trolling effort seemed poor, with no mention of players from our losing years that had solid NFL careers.
At least well into the 2nd round, it seemed that the AAC was doing better than the B12. Mixon was only the second B12 player selected while at the same time maybe 6 or so AAC guys were already off the board.

Big Ten: 10
ACC: 7
AAC: 5
Big 12: 2

Tyson picked by the Seahawks in Round 6
CBS Sports is giving the pick an D for Seahawks because of who they have already on the team.

Mike Tyson | FS, Cincinnati
Height: 6-1 Weight: 204
A safety prospect with good size and some experience as a hybrid SAM linebacker. A third safety in this draft by a team with Thomas and Chancellor?

Great news for Tyson. He's a guy that made a huge jump from his Junior to senior season. His junior year I remember thinking he had no clue what was going on on the field. Always had the physical quallities. Not sure if that growth was due to Gilhammer or what but he took a big leap. Hope he has a successful career at the next level.
I was in a bar watching when the pick came in... ESPN showed several clips of "Mike Tyson, the Boxer" before ever getting to Mike Tyson in game footage. I thought the first clip was vaguely funny (I get it, I really do), but after the fourth clip of Tyson in the ring, I was like, "Are they going to show ANY football footage?"

They did show some football footage...
Tion green picked up by Detroit.

Just an Fyi:

Paul Myerberg @PaulMyerberg
P5 programs without a draft pick: Syracuse, UVA, Duke, Iowa State, Kansas, Maryland, Rutgers, Oregon, Arizona, Kentucky, South Carolina

Kind of shocked that Oregon and South Carolina had nobody taken in the draft.

Agree on Oregon. On the flip, Meechigan had the most drafted this year. Gotta love ol' Jim "Woody Hayes" Harbaugh. Surprised a bit by Utah and Pitt...

All of the Detroit blogs were talking about the Lions going hard for Kareem Hunt, but if they missed (which they did), they would go after Tion late if they felt like another team was after him or jump early in the UDFA signing period.
Deyshawn Bond to the Colts.
I think Utah's whole O-Line got drafted or close to that there was a string of like 3 picked in one round. I was taking care of dogs all day while the draft was on so I did not catch all or it and to tired to look it up.

That's sweet for him, and Indy guy going home, and given how piss-poor their O-Line was last year he's got a good shot of sticking.
