Apparently there are some aspects of government that the Dems do not control. Cannot have that at all!

Smell the hypocrisy
Lazy Tom will be very silent on this issue.
Gerrymandering is only bad when the wrong people do it.

It's the reason nothing will ever get done in Washington

If gerrymandering is acceptable in Texas and Florida and North Carolina....then why not in California?

I stand corrected. Although I didn't forsee the "good for the goose, good for the gander" defense from Lazy Tom. That's a new one.

So you're agreeing that it's okay in Texas and North Carolina?
Never said it was ok. If you review my post history you will see how I said I wish republicans in NC held themselves to a higher standard.

My problem is hypocrisy. You cannot rally against the ills of gerrymandering while not rallying against the actions of California democrats in this instance. To pick on NC but not CA makes you a hypocrite. If you have no problem with NC gerrymandering than not being bothered by this is consistent. Calling out NC while cheering on CA makes you a hypocrite

Tom's going to play apologist for the left every time. And this time, that's the only club he has in the bag.
Districts should be done by computers.

And we can have Russians write the programs.

Я могу писать алгоритмы 03-wink
Isn't gerrymandering essentially required in some states due to the voting rights act? I know that one of the districts in Alabama is gerrymandered so that it's majority minority to comply with the VRA.
I thought only Republicans did this.
