So apparently y'all cancelled our game next year. We were looking forward to it so it's quite unfortunate. Any of y'all know what happened?

We picked up a game with Arkansas instead. They pay us more?

It is a little disappointing because I think we owed you guys a butt kicking. 04-cheers
Yea I agree! That was a hell of a game in 2014. Also I'd like to see a kid I know play for y'all. Oh well.

I wonder if y'all are paying us for this? Or maybe rescheduling?
I don't know why this occurred, but my guess is it may have to do with our new HFBC Phillip Montgomery. He may feel that we already have a solid recruiting presence in Texas (SMU and Houston) and may want to venture into other states to recruit or this could have also occurred from the Texas St end. But thats just conjecture from my end and isn't based on any first hand knowledge.

Our conference is undergoing a lot of change (adding Wichita St) and being strengthened in both football and mens basketball, so this could also be a TV thing set up by them.

Good luck this year in the Sunbelt.

Sorry about that, but you're welcome to come watch up in Tulsa anytime if possible!I also don't know about payment/rescheduling.

You may be right Rabid, but my guess was Arkansas came calling with money in-hand and we agreed to it.

Looks like instead of playing 2 Arkansas and 2 Texas teams in Non-Conference, we'll be playing THREE Arkansas teams and just The University of Texas. Of course we have UH and SMU already as you mentioned.
