Quote:Republican officials in Congress and the White House are now openly discussing finding a GOP replacement to Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) as Speaker of the House, after Ryan failed to pass the American Health Care Act out of the House and misled the public and President Donald Trump when he promised repeatedly the bill would pass.

Ryan seems hell bound on destroying the GOP and working against the American people…It's time for Speaker Ryan to resign. #MAGA #Dobbs

Boy, sure sounds like someone is getting a little too big for their britches.
The fact that the Speaker of the House is an elected representative is its own folly.

But now since the Trumpers are against him along with the left, I have to defend him.
ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!
Doing Trumps bidding isn't a guaranteed gig eh?

Nah. Trump is going to serve his full term. The next term maybe a different story.

This was a big loss for two-Paul Ryan and the Freedom Caucus. Freedom Caucus was the party of no and Paul Ryan failed to herd the cats. Trump is fine with this one. Merely one negative mark. He worked the room. Freedom Caucus still said no and Ryan didn't read his chamber right when they have been promising this for 6 years, doing meaningless votes but not able to do a thing when it counted.
Look, I won't shed any tears if Paul Ryan is bumped from speaker.

But don't pretend like anyone else was going to get a bill passed that was unpopular with both the donkeys and the Freedom Caucus. 03-lmfao
Funny, seems like just a few months ago they were begging PR to take the job against his great reservations.

They haven't been promising what your supposed unscathed Trump and the establishment came up with though. They have been promising R&R, not this take over of a bad system.

They had a chance to follow through with their promise to R&R and squandered it on an coup attempt. We don't want to take over Obamacare, we want it gone.

Yep, he didn't want the job. Guess he knew what doing Trumps bidding would get him.
Ryan saved Republicans.

Trump wanted to force a vote anyway, to expose the FC. But Ryan knew how devastating that would to the GOP, and talked Trump out of it.

I keep coming around to this as well. Trump is 4% into his term. To borrow your analogy the game is about 3 minutes old.

But then why push *that* bill....
The utter crime is that they didn't have a viable plan on day 1. Criminal negligence. They can't coalesce around anything.
The trumpbots are so butthurt. I love it.

Neither did the dems... They had to buy votes from members inorder to get their garbage passed.
