UAB has a really good sounding fight song. Better than most!

I had the honor of being on the committee that picked it. It was only supposed to be used for 5-10 years then spend a few thousand dollars and hire someone to compose a "more professional" song. I wouldn't trade our current fight song even if Sousa could write us another. The Victory Song's "Ever Faithful, Ever Loyal" is a keeper too!

What year was it picked? I'm assuming it was after 1996 when Blaze was introduced as the new mascot.
