So humble...

too white for my taste..plus no lake? seems kinda overpriced, but should be back on the market one way or another in a year and a half.
6,000 square feet, on .78 acres? What's the point? Guess they're not the "outdoorsy" type.

But seriously, who cares?

Dr Fleckenstien has always lived in castles not about to change now. No need for a moat with no water.
collectively you have to think one day athletes are gonna look at that and go...damn we are all being used.
I'd be afraid to spill anything in that place.

Not my style, too modern and too much room. With all those windows it bet it costs a fortune to heat it in the winter-and mama will never be warm enough anyway. 03-lmfao

Just confirms that dollars are king in college sports.Everyone, gets their cut . Flecks salary isn't even in the top tier imagine what the likes,of Harbaugh, Sabin and Urban Meyer could command in the real estate market if they were so inclined. The players well their share is the scholarship . There's been some noise about the players getting paid but I doubt that happens.Log into WMU football on Facebook Andy Pepper posted an article complete with pictures inside and out of the house.
Fifty rowing machines in the basement...because he can.
His 3rd wife is going to love that house.

I agree with several of the comments posted below the story.

Proof that P5 college football and basketball coaches are w-a-y overpaid, but that is what the market is paying right now for whatever reason. Also, probably not the best business/investment decision.

However, what Fleck has is no different then the mansions Tom Izzo and Mark Dantonio have in the Lansing area. Or the colossal homes Brady Hoke and Jim Harbaugh had/have in the Ann Arbor region.

Like Fleck or not, he has earned his opportunity and salary at Minnesota based on how his peers are paid around the Pig10 and other dirty P5 programs. I could not care less how he decides to spend on PERSONAL things like the home where he lives.

Some people are just obsessed to the point of being ridiculous. Fleck is the first - and will not be the last - WMU football coach to leave for a larger $chool.

The last WMU coach to win a MAC Championship was fired a few years later. Take the $ while you can. It is a cut-throat industry.

Agreed.

We need to start talking less about Fleck. He was here, he did some great things and now he's gone. We're moving on.
Unfortunately we spent most of the last 4 years on here bickering about Cubit (the first 2 especially). Like it or not, Fleck is going to keep coming up. Just the way it is.
Fleck and his house are irrelevant.
No OARS or the words "Elite" outside on the front lawn??? Odd.........
True story, not a rumor...his wife is a real dick. She treated Kalamazoo working folk about as bad as pj treated his former team on their way out.

Talk about going from 60 to 0 with people that gave you the benefit of the doubt. Now we doubt the benefits.

Now, why would you say that?

I'm assuming the 3rd one won't happen until he's found his real dream job elsewhere in a couple years.
His dream wife
Like he said to his fans in the Zoo, he's not likely to always be here, but just relax about that and enjoy the ride while it lasts.

Sometimes these flaming comets burn out early. So he should take his own advice as well.
