I could see this as possible as the ACC is going to a 20-game basketball schedule in a few years and will have less teams in the tournament if they don't expand because everyone will average one more loss per season in conference. The ACC would just go to a 9-game schedule in football. As far as ND is concerned, one year out of three, they would play 6 games in football against the ACC.

I haven't read that board, but I can only imagine what kind of crap UCONN fans are coming up with without an NCAA tourney to occupy their time.

Not happening. If it was far enough along that random Virginia boosters were being fed the information by the AD already the press would be all over it.
