BREAKING: North Texas will hire Arkansas State's Grant McCasland as its next head basketball coach, per sources.

Now we know why A-State decided against post-season ball.

I can't wait for Mohajir's next radio interview.
You know T-Mo is pissed.
Dear north Texas

We'll take our 500k in cash. Please and thank you

Meh. Who cares. We stopped worrying about this long ago
Might be more difficult for stAte to replace in basketball than football... stAte doesn't exactly have a rich BB history in recent years.
Only thing surprising to me is UNT finding the money for the buyout, but with Grant's dad being the pastor of a church in the metroplex, the greenies may have just tapped into someone who know McCasland personally to find the money.

We replaced Freeze with one winning season in a long time
Makes sense considering his hometown is a Dallas suburb and his recruiting efforts were based in and around Dallas. It certainly wasn't about the money.
Seems weird, but okay, next.

Ark St. fans carrying that tough and cool card today well.
Seriously? $500K is all we made on him? Tmo is letting me down. We usually turn them over for more of a positive cash flow than that. LOL.

Ah, getting back to his family in the north Dallas area is good for coach. Wish him the best because this is all business for them and this is a move for the good of his family.

Next.
Well....we got a 20 win season coached free of charge.

Collapsing at the end of the season, going nowhere, and being unable to shoot free throws makes it hard to really get worked up too much.

I get the feeling a lot of them aren't too concerned. They are probably still mad about how the season ended... then again, maybe McCasland had UNT on his mind during the last few games, which contributed to the strange collapse that StAte had.
You know we aren't concerned but the rest of the conf. should be. This is how football got on a roll.

Ahhh... I was wondering. Not even a lateral move really.... It's a step backwards.

We are really used to it at this point. This season people started feeling itchy all over because Anderson had been here for a few years and it seemed like too long. We know TMo will find a good replacement.

We were 18-6 and then went 2-6 down the stretch. Thanks for the first 24 games coach, thanks for the half million, time to move on.
stAte fans won't sweat the small stuff.
