From Jordan strack:

I'm told Toledo Men's Basketball will be playing in the CBI Tournament. Waiting on opponent, location & date. Sounds like a Wednesday game.

eh, i love it. Love playing in a post season tournament, regardless of how irrelevant some think they are. It's fun to play meaningful out of conference games, and if you can win a tournament against a bunch of above .500 teams, that is a decent accomplishment
That's a tough matchup. Hope Adway & Roberts get plenty of court time. Would've been nice if Garber would have healed by now.
Instead of halves, they're playing quarters in the CBI. Sort of.

Game at the 5,000-seat Charles E. Smith Center...looks a lot like Akron's arena.

How in the world did Ohio not get invited to anything like CIT or CBI? 20 wins, lost by 2 to Kent State in the semis...wonder if they turned down any offers? I know Auburn did. May have been how we were fortunate enough to snag a spot at 17-16. Having 4 losses to 3 teams that made the NCAA also may have helped us?

Exactly like Akron's... Except the Rhodes Center has blue walls/ceiling...

Lots of good college basketball has been played there. Perhaps the rockets are getting a return game next season. GW is a legit program . They've had some top 20-30 team a few times . We will need to play and finish well to win there.
FWIW, Washington DC is under a winter storm warning from Monday night at 7 to 2:00 Tuesday afternoon. 6 to 10 inches of snow expected.

Hope it doesn't make traveling a major headache.

Washington DC is under a winter storm warning if a snowflake hits Baltimore.

Worst winter drivers I've ever encountered and that includes cities much further south.
It will be fun watching the Rockets play someone new. I do hope it's on ESPN3.
Maybe OU declined; have no idea, but they should go before Toledo.

That said; good, go kick some butt. Win, win for the program IMO.
Anyone know if Lauf is going to go? He was in a ton of pain and per articles he wouldn't even take his shoes off at the end of the game. He's a tough dude and I'm sure wants to play, but you cannot risk further problems for this tourney.
