Belmont's RPI is 13 lower, their SOS is 150 points lower, they have no top 50 wins, and the OVC is ranked 26 while the MAC is 10 in conference RPI. I don't think so.
Durham would be a hike but would be a nice trip for me with friends in the area.
Stay local but get a lower seed or get moved out West with a higher seed? I think I'd prefer local. One (competitive) loss local would do more for the program than one win out of the recruiting area

Not so afraid of OST, either. Shut down Mitchell, like Toledo did Lehman and Smith and not much substance left.(And I love Mitchell who will be drafted high in WNBA). OST has moved away from defense in response to Maryland so Toledo's defensive pressure would give them a run for the money.

If I'm the committee I will pit Toledo vs Miami and Belmont vs OSU. Still get the same number of fans to the opening night but a potential for an OSU v Toledo in second round would be huge.

We stop the 3 ball better than anyone in the country and are deep as hell. But if we cant make free throws or shoot? we will be one and done...
I dont see teams scoring over 70 against us... especially if a team takes us lightly. Our RPI and credentials make us closer to an 8 seed than a 13.
I just hope we stay within an 8 hr driving distance. If I was a Kent fan and after Saturday's win found out the next night that I have to travel to Los Angeles to see my team in the tournament; it would sort of piss me off. I hope the committee accounts for our attendance and puts us where we can bring a thousand or so fans...

also Drake, Belmont, WKU, WIU Quinnipiac, Penn, Boise and Gonzaga all have much worse SOS than UT. Even Michigan's is worse. If UT doesn't get at least a 12 seed that would be a huge slap in the face. I still maintain they deserve an 11.
