The club has certainly grown since I played in 1997. I'm not sure if my team was team10 but it seemed like the club was non existent when I and a few guys from the dorms put a team together and played at the Valley IM field. We played UofM, MSU, Ball State, Toledo, Hope, Alma and a few others. But I learned recently that the first team took the field in 1987. We barely had money for jerseys and we mostly used our helmets and gloves from our HS teams. We had a player/coach who was a transfer from Northwood. The club is now recruiting area players and looking sharp. I hope they can attain varsity status and be the 3rd in MI (UDM & UofM). I'm hoping to take my kid to the game at Oakland U this season because we live on the East Side. Any Bronco LAXers out there?

My team is in the 3rd pic from an indoor practice about 20 years ago today. I think I actually took this shot on someone else's camera, because i remember being there and I'm not in it.
Hope you make it to varsity status. I love Field Hockey and it could be another sport where WMU would excel. 04-rock
Doubt if we'll add Men's LaCrosse as a Varsity sport. We would also have to add another Women's sport due to Title IX guidelines.

We had Field Hockey BITD. They played just east of Waldo down the hill from Oakland Gym (by ROTC building).
