I would see it on Sunday afternoon on ABC, when they didn't have a sport to air. It was a group of people all sitting around a round table, dressed to the nines, answering general knowledge trivia questions. IIRC, the stakes got pretty high. I've been racking my brain trying to remember this show. Any ideas?
