That basically ensures CUSA will be a one bid league. UTEP may be the hottest team in the conference.

That's what I was thinking too. Now it's really down to securing the 3 seed.

The whole league other than MTSU is just mediocre/bad, but I think the league as a whole looks even worse than it actually is since teams like UTSA, UTEP, etc are starting to turn things around some.

MTSU lost @UTEP
ODU lost to FAU at home tonight
UAB lost @UTSA

etc

The top 5 RPI CUSA teams have 7 losses in CUSA play to 280+ RPI teams now, mostly @UTEP and @UTSA

We really need to beat ODU at home for the tiebreaker

We only have two or three games left that I feel confident about: Charlotte, FAU, FIU, which are all at home. MTSU, ODU, @WKU, @Marshall could all easily end up being losses. If I had to make a prediction I'd say UAB ends the season 4-3 with losses @WKU, @Marshall, and at home to MTSU. I'm not sure 11-7 gets a top 4 seed.

What has this team done that would make you feel confident about any game?

I think we have room for 2 losses, assuming we don't lose to ODU. Very close race for the #2, #3, and #4 byes though. In a hilarious turn of events, UTEP now has a great shot at a #3 bye. They have head to heads over UAB and Marshall and they get ODU at home.

Not good for the conference. MTSU needed to run the table to have a chance at an at large.

#3? #2 is well within reach.
