From what I gather she is a fixture in this universe of characters. What little got shown if her in some animated Avengers series I liked her.

The Kelly Sue DeConnick runs are my favorite runs of almost any comic. I am really looking forward to how they rebuild her after what happened in Civil War II.

This is Marvel we're talking about, so I think it'll be fine.

She become prominent due to the fact that Marvel Studios doesn't have access to mutants. Carol spent most of the 90's in a coma from Rogue stealing her powers.

She was good in the Avengers' EMH series. Ms. Marvel is a better name.
