It doesn't make the board more fun for the vast majority of the people here - in fact, many people have left because your idiotic behavior dominates this board. I personally wish you would go away like you did after your temper tantrum at GFlash68. Without your boorish behavior, the board became a nice place to read different points of view while you were gone. And, since it's your boorish behavior that makes the board an exciting place in your mind, you must be loving my behavior right now, because it is certainly generating the action on our otherwise mostly boring message board.

Polish, all you do is support 1 program. Never have a known you to be a true GF fan. Go back into hibernation.
I support all Kent State programs, if they had a frisbee team I'd support it 100%. That I defend a program very few others do, and a program I left my blood sweat and tears on the field for, doesn't mean I don't support them all. And just like others that could contribute positive discussion to this forum but have decided to avoid this place, I will go back into hibernation far away from your arrogant nonsense.

On the honest side....

Ultimate Frisbee is SO much fun. I should have done that while I was at Kent unless it would conflict with band...
Corey Conners missed the cut finishing the 2nd round today, but Yip did make the cut and is going into Sunday's play tied for 8th. Yip is halfway through the 3rd round as are most of the leaders.
Yip was looking at a possibility of a top 5 finish, but went 7 over in the last 7 holes and finished tied for 25th. It's a bummer because he really played so well until then (was tied for 3rd) and the possibility of a very high finish was in reach.
This week...

Mackenzie Hughes partnered with Nick Taylor for the Zurich Open (now teamplay) and will get cut.

Yip and Conners are in action in the web.com event. Yip continues his solid play of late (currently tied for 11th 15 holes in the 2nd round) and Conners will miss the cut by two strokes.
Yip finished a solid tied for 23rd, which is the third straight Top 25 finish.
On the PGA Tour, Hughes is currently tied for 23rd after 12 holes of the second round and in excellent shape to make the cut.

On the web.com Tour, Conners made the cut (tied for 49th) and Yip missed the cut, ending his recent streak of hot play.
Mackenzie Hughes had a good weekend but had a rough last nine that cost him about 20 positions in the Wells Fargo Championship. He shot a 2 under for the tournament and finished tied for 32nd.

Corey Conners was never in contention in the web.com tour event and finished tied for 53rd, which will earn another $1700 towards a PGA card.
Mackenzie Hughes! In the lead (tied with Wm. McGirt) in round 1 of the TPC on the green on 17. 5-under today.
Hughes finished a very solid tied for 16th in the Players Championship.
In the web.com BMW Charity Pro-Am, the cuts are made after three rounds (they play 3 different courses the first three days and then those that make the cut play a final round on a single course).

Corey Conners will make the cut, but is only tied for 58th. Ryan Yip will miss the cut.
In action this weekend:

PGA Tour: Hughes made the cut at the Memorial and is tied for 47th at even par after 3 rounds.

Web.com Tour: Yip made the cut at the Rex Hospital Open (or whatever) and is tied for 53rd at 3 under. Conners missed the cut.

Mackenzie Tour: We have action north of the border where Taylor Pendrith made the cut and is tied for 70th.

Ack. Well, at least 3 of 4 made the cut.

Appreciate the updates. But have not seen any mention of John Hahn. The last we heard he was in Europe (I think). Is he still playing professionally?

I don't know what's going on with Hahn. He played on the European Tour one year and then mixed time between the European Tour and the Challenge Tour (sort of the web.com of the European Tour for two years). His twitter gave some indication that the travel was too much. He played in the Q school for the web.com tour last fall but I think he only got to the 2nd stage.

His twitter account has been deleted and I've looked for updates on different tours and haven't found anything. I'm not sure what his plans are at all.
Well, the Kent players that made the cut finished near the bottom of the fields this week.

Looking forward to next week!
Corey Conners looking real good to qualify for the US Open. Today is the qualifiers and he shot -9 in the first round which was 5 shots clear of 2nd place. 4 qualifiers at his sectional in Springfield.
Hughes is playing in Columbus and not looking good.

Any other Kent players out there? I scanned through them and couldn't find any.

Corey made it.
Corey is +2 through 3 holes. Could get ugly. Hopefully he settles down.
I've fallen a bit behind, but

Tournaments ending June 18th: Conners missed the cut at the US Open, Ryan Yip finished 76th on the web.com tour and Taylor Pendrith finished tied for 29th on the Makenzie Tour.

Tournaments ending on June 25th: Hughes finished tied for 16th on the PGA Tour Traveler's Championship. Corey Conners finished tied for 34th and Yip missed the cut on the web.com tour.
First off, as an alum, I should say that I finally hit the links for the first time this summer yesterday, hacking 7 holes at the local hackers course before it got dark. Sadly, I made the green in regulation on exactly 0 holes and missed two 6 footers for par (I would have consider it a good day if I had one par). All the problems you would expect for the first time out. Short game was a trainwreck, wasn't exactly hitting the ball straight too often. Putting wasn't that bad though. Maybe I'll head out again during the long weekend.

For real golfers, Hughes made the cut on the PGA Tour and finished tied for 51st. I do consider it remarkable that he has made the cut in 16 of 24 events. Ryan Yip missed the cut on the web.com tour.

That is all.
