Dirk doesn't have to play in two of the next three games. Just get him ready for UT, the freshmen guards should get good minutes for southern and miles might would start em both

Don't take anybody lightly. Treat Southern like you do any other game and stick with the same line up and substitutions until the game is in hand. A team that lost to Furman should not take Southern, a team in the NCAA tournament last year, lightly.

Smallwood gets his time in if the other players take care of business. This is a warmup for Texas. Starting Smallwood does nothing to get you ready for UT.

Southern has to be put away. The won't go lightly like Ark-PB and Alabama A&M.

I'd really like to see some shots fall for Deion and Dirk. They need to be efficient jump shooters for us to be successful.

Agreed.

Tonight's game results show how well Memphis knows his basketball. We must never take any team lightly because of league affiliation.
