Opening tip of the season about 10 minutes away for the Rockets and Hawks.

I'm planning on just listening to Brent and Jay, but apparently there's streaming video too.

Jon Jon, Sanford, Navigato, Taylor, and Garber starting for UT, according to Brent.
Excellent, thanks for the link! Was just getting ready to search...

Interesting.
But I think Brent said something about a change being made. I was half listening, so maybe I misunderstood.
Opening tip goes to the Rockets
Dzierzawski started, but I don't know for who
Rockets can't score on their first possession

Hawks get a putback and lead 2-0, then Jon Jon (I think) ties it

Navigato didn't start.
Foul on Jon Jon sends the Hawks to the line

Free throws are good and St. Joe's leads 4-2

I was just finding that possible starting line-up interesting for 2 reasons: one, there isn't a true PG in that bunch and TK used late schollys to sign 2 JUCO PGs, so saying that neither is good enough to start now got my attention (I thought Antunez in particular gave us something we didn't have last season). Secondly, neither Knapke or Adway seem quite ready yet, so I thought TK might want to keep Navigato on the bench to have a proven front-court(ish) player to sub in.
Dzierzawski ties it at 4

Then an offensive foul on the Hawks
Teams trade misses, then Garber tips it in and UT leads 6-4

Hawks miss and Williams rebounds

UT misses and St. Joe's rebounds

Hawks turn it over
Williams hits a 3 and UT leads 9-4
Hawks going to the line after the media timeout. UT leads 9-4 with 15:59 to go in the first half
I think the foul was on Dzierzawski. That's his first, the team's second
I think the first free throw was no good, second one good. UT leads 9-5.

Rockets turn it over, Offensive foul on the Hawks, then UT scores to make it 11-5

Roberts in the game for UT and he's called for a foul. Hawks to the line. First one no good, second one good. 11-6 UT
Navigato hits a 3 and it's 14-6

Hawks answer quickly and it's 14-8 Rockets

UT misses and the Hawks rebound
St. Joe's turns it over

Then Williams called for an offensive foul. He's got two fouls and comes out of the game

Then St. Joe's called for an offensive foul

Wow. I honestly didn't expect Roberts in this soon. I know Antunez was injured in the exhibition game--hand? Anyone heard anything on his status?
