earl moore went down and came off without putting any weight on his lower leg. didn't seem to be in a lot of pain, so, hoping it is a tweak or minor strain and we get him back at some point. any word?

also, what was in the injury to diontae johnson? i think our depth can cover his rs at receiver, but i miss him on kickoff returns. jones can break em too but he's more of a risk w ball security.

get two defenders back next week in m moore at DT and davis at LB, both should push for pt. i imagine myers and montgomery the 2 late transfers will begin to push for pt too in a few weeks once they learn our systems and tendencies better.

is everyone else healthy? (other than the pre-season ACLs and coleman)
I was wondering about Johnson's injury as well. Where has Moore been? Injured or suspended?
Suspended first two games.

How then did he play last night?
there are more moore's. earl moore, the miami transfer, started the first 2 games, but went out (with us up 38-3 dammit) with a leg injury that was tough to read if it was serious. marquise moore, the whitmer kid who started as a frosh but missed last year w an injury, was suspended the first 2 games but comes back for fresno.

diontae johnson had a leg or foot injury pre-season, word was that he'd probably miss the year, but no press on what happened (strain, break, ligament???)

03-lmfao Thanks- got confused because of the earlier reference to Earl. Having Marquis back will be huge, esp if Earl loses any time.
I also forgot about Earl Moore being on the team. I saw him in the Ark State game and thought Candle went soft on the suspension and allowed Marquis Moore in after the first half. Earl Moore is a beast out there. Hope he has nothing serious and is back at least for the MAC games.
Some of (earl) moore's story here. sounds like he is becoming a team leader, hope he gets back on the field.

Found Earl Moore's twitter, but couldn't figure out anything. He is posting stuff, so that is good at least!

I'll echo what others have said, Earl Moore is a BEAST! Having two 300+ lb. defensive linemen is huge for us. Need both of them to keep grinding like we have been. Getting Marquise Moore back can only help.
I missed coaches show, did Candle mention injury updates?
Didn't catch the coaches show, but listened to Candle's post-game presser on the website, and Monday's presser on periscope. Didn't mention anything about the injuries, nor did any of our press corps ask. Someone needs to nudge one of them to get a bit more nosey.

Here's the link to Monday's presser on periscope: https://www.periscope.tv/w/1MnxnnmyvYLxO

It says it ended, but it is archived, so you can press play and still watch.

As usual I keep forgetting about it. Got out of the habit of listening to it. I'll have to make a note.
At Downtown Coaches JC said that Earl took a helmet to the side of the knee and if the week goes well they expect him to see action on Saturday. He did not mention any other new injuries.

Good news. Thanks for sharing.
No word on Johnson?
thanks RocketElvis, great news that Moore's injury sounds minor. Might actually be good for all if he rests or gets fewer snaps Saturday as the other Moore is coming off his suspension and could use the work to get back in the groove. We will need them both ready for BYU who has a big tough oline.
