Ok so this might be a little bit of a rant but I know im not the only one that notices the problem with ODU Merchandise, especially when you cant make it to the bookstore. We have very little options for ODU Merchandise, the bookstore website is terrible and never updated with what is in the store and other comparable schools are far better than us at getting the school gear thing right. I notice schools like App State, Charlotte, Marshall and even Coastal Carolina have much better options for their fans to rep quality gear from their schools.
The only thing ODU fans have is 100 options of crappy T-shirts to choose from. I wish ODU would drastically improve on this and if anyone has a link to a place that has quality ODU gear (not a $7.99 cheap t-shirt) please share.
Thats the problem, all those other websites are just cheap T-shirts. The bookstore used to have a Columbia Tamiami shirt that I cant seem to find anywhere. I have asked serveral times for ODU Titleist hats, ODU golf bags, hell just anything that I could get for every other school just not ODU.
I also wish I could get a jersey with a players number, I know they cant do names but they should have jerseys with #14, #33 and really whatever number you want if you wanted to the custom route. We just dont even have the option.
And when you expressed these feeling to the AD, they said what?

Again, if you live out of town it makes it hard so you look for online options that dont exist. Reached out to a couple sources but got no response.
did you contact Wood Selig? I haven't sent an e-mail yet that he didn't respond to in a very reasonable amount of time. That doesn't mean you're going to get the answer you want to hear, but you might get some info you didn't have before.

I have not reached out to WS but some people at the ODU bookstore. Just sucks that I see BW, Baze and others with sweet ODU Under Armour gear that I dont even have the option of buying

When Campbell, Northern Colorado, and freaking St. Francis are on there but ODU is not? What are our administrators doing?
Try clicking Campbell. It doesn't work. Same for UMass. What good does being on the site do if there is no gear?
I would assume their website acts more as an outlet for the non-P5. Until ODU sends unsold gear back to them, we probably won't end up with anything on their site.

Then click on Navy. It takes you to a page with a bunch of Notre Dame gear and not one Navy item.
The U/A site is a mess.

I did not have that issue with either the Navy or BC link. Probably your computer. Also I rather be on there with no link. Than not on there at all. Especially with lesser schools on there

Actually, Lambert's Point currently has no ODU polos in their shop. When they do, they're much cheaper than the Bookstore for those who were unaware. I went in this past weekend to try and score some gear and they were completely out of ODU marked gear.

Haha. It's my computer's fault a link mis-directed me to the wrong portion of the site. Funny.
I think their site just doesn't work well with Chrome. IE worked fine, as did mobile.
Edit; Looks like they fixed the error. Got a under maintenance link. Now everything is working.
I know that we're still fresh in out UA contract but I agree with most of whats said. And it gets worse past Norfolk. In Northern VA I see all the typical schools: UVA, VT, Notre Dame, Maryland, Michigan, VCU (ugh), Mason and JMU to an extent, UNC, and even Marshall and some other non P-5s (ever RADFORD for crying out loud). But never ODU. I mean, the last thing I saw was a pink hoodie that said Monarchs that was the same style as VT, VCU, UVA, and Mason ones. And that was YEARS ago. I wish ODU was represented more. Is that the licensing department not spreading its roots? Or is it that stores don't want to carry our gear? I know the Hampton Roads area is pretty out of sight/out of mind for the DC/NoVA area but it's really frustrating to never see anything ODU. Hell, I didn't hear about ODU until my Junior year of high school, and that is only because I went to a George Mason game in Fairfax where they played us. I know I've seen ads for their distance learning program but ODU should be trying to extend its brand outside of the 757

It's alright, I didn't know VCU had an engineering program until my Freshman year at ODU. Praise be.
