For God's sake, just play a Super Bowl there and be done with it.
Did they bring back the Concorde? Otherwise you'd need 4 team in Europe. There are barely enough decent QB's to fill out the current 32 teams. Why Goddell has a hardon for expanding a game internationally in spite of the domestic issues is baffling.
You wouldn't need 4 teams there but games would have to be played in blocks of 3-4 weeks at a time, home and away. Otherwise, that's a ton of jetlag.

Right. Those four teams have been in the same division since 1970, and that's just one of the NFL divisional alignments that the teams don't want to give up:
NE/Jets/Buf/Mia -- they've been together in the same division since 1966 (Dolphins' first season).
Den/KC/Oak/SD -- in the same division since 1960 (AFL's first season).
Chi/Det/GB/Min -- in the same division since 1961 (Vikings' first season).
Bad idea, that doesn't make sense at all.
WLAF... and NFLE .... I think they have had two choices/chances and know their answers...
I could see another attempt at starting a league in Europe. That makes more sense to me then having a European team in the NFL. I think the NFL should try to play games in other cities in Europe instead of just London over the next 5-10 years, then look at starting a new NFLE. I'd try to make NFLE an (relatively) equal to the current NFL though, not a development league. Get a league of 8 teams 10 years from now, eventually expand to 16+, and then we could move towards a "World Bowl" with both the NFL and NFLE champions playing each other.
I could see the jaguars play 4 games in London and 4 games in Jacksonville
IF they are going to do it, why not just expand by 2 teams for London and add them to the NFC East and AFC East....or maybe a London team and a team in Germany...
just add the NFL Europe teams: London Monarchs and Rhein Fire or Frankfurt Galaxy
If they wanted to get inventive, they could add two new divisions....NFC Europe and and AFC Europe :D

Unless Europe starts producing high level talent (1st & 2nd round draft picks), this will tremendously water down the NFL. I'd rather see a few SB's in Europe and the Jags play 3-4 games across Europe a season plus a renewed effort of rebuilding the NFL Europe. More kids than ever are playing football as well as college football in Britain. It'll be awhile before NFL ready talent there. I'd say that the EPL is more popular in the US than the NFL is in Britain and that's considering the TV ratings the SB gets in Britain.
Expand to Istanbul, they like American football.
But fully seriously, one team. Have them play their games in blocks of 3-4 weeks at a time on both continents. Give them a US training facility and it could work.

Bad idea!! For a multitude of reasons, two of which are wage laws & tax law. Remember that Steve Francis, even though he was a crybaby didn't want to play in Canada and now you want NFL players to play in London, which is across the Atlantic?!! The NFL might want to rethink that one.

Something tells me that when London gets a team, the London team will have to have a practice facility in the states. There is no way the team is going to survive flying from London to New York, back to London, back to Los Angeles, back to London, back to Miami, back to London,...
Additionally, London is going to have to have practice facilities for the visiting team. A team is going to wish to get to London as early as possible to prepare to play.
In my conference movements, Dallas has the most to lose. High profile games in Washington, Philadelphia, and New York is how the franchise built a national following.
I debated keeping Dallas with Wash, Phila, and New York. I decided to move Buffalo with Pitt, Cle, and Cin. I thought about Miami, too, and kept the team east instead of moving the team with Hou, New Orleans, and Tampa.
The New York Jets may have the most to gain. Miami, New England (Boston), and London make the franchise attractive.
Anyway- just thoughts.
