That seems pretty bizarre.
I really like Jason Terry the player but coach? Wtf?

Current player and no coaching experience at any level-assistant or head coaching. This seems way out of left field.

To be fair, it says "spoke with" and not interviewed. Maybe this is our genius AD's method to drum up some buzz around the gig?
If its good enough for the Knicks, it is good enough for UAB, I guess to hire a coach straight out of the NBA. I actually like this better than Chuck Person.

Terry was a teammate at Arizona with Josh Pastner, so maybe this is how we get Memphis back on the schedule.
Derek Fisher and Jason Kidd recently became NBA coaches immediately following the end of their NBA careers.

Except it wasn't good enough for the Knicks.

Working ok for Jason Kidd though

True, but he is already on his second job, though of his own choosing.
We have a top flight NCAA assistant who wants this job badly, and we're going to hire someone with zero head coaching or NCAA experience.

It's a strange world that Ingram inhabits.

To be fair, what coach has been good for the Knicks since Jeff Van Gundy left and James Dolan started running the show?

Where does it say we are hiring Jason Terry? It doesn't even say he was interviewed.

Man...some of ya'lls negativity is just poisonous.

Let the process happen. We already know that Ehsan is a major candidate. Geez.
It almost seems like some folks are anxiously awaiting Ingram to make a terrible hire so their feelings about him will be validated.
How dare Ingram talk to any other candidates?!!!! He better be interviewing people for the assistants jobs. The fans already told told him who to hire. What's the holdup. Do exactly what we want Ingram or we will call you names and talk badly you about you on message boards.

Let's see if the reception is any better when you say than when I say it. 03-lmfao

Doubtful. I'm rooting for the guy, not just for the sake of our team but to prove some people wrong.
Fox 6 story states Terry was interviewed...

"....an interview that happened Thursday morning is the most intriguing. Current Houston Rocket in the NBA Jason Terry reportedly interviewed for the job. A source close to the search said that 38-year-old Terry stated a claim to become the next head coach at UAB."
