he's excellent at speaking, without actually saying anything. It's incredible.
or doing anything.
"Interest for the UAB job has come from all corners, Ingram said. College and NBA, all over the country." - Wonder what NBA interest there's been.

"Ingram said he has an internal committee, his executive staff in athletics that has helped take a large number of candidates and trim the list down. Ingram said they have created an advisory committee that included leaders in the community, faculty, athletics and university staff and a group of folks to provide feedback. They are also including former players. He didn't give out any names." - Any word on this committee?

There's nothing wrong with that in this instance.
yeah that article didn't say much of anything... it is interesting that interest in the job came from the NBA though
Translation: An NBA coach who got sacked would like to come here, cruise along at 20 wins a season, and cash a check.

FAU's NBA head coach seems to be pretty motivated.
you may have made his point.
Either Ingram is a liar or Stansbury is a liar.
I would highly doubt Ingram had anything ready during the timeframe that Stansbury was digging for more money.
I don't believe that report for a second. That's Stansbury's agent trying to either hold WKU up for more money or to push them into going on and signing him.

This was a better article with answers from Ingram than I expected. It was a good endorsement of Ehsan , even if Ingram was prompted in that direction.

Not fair. I don't think that's at all what Avery Johnson is trying to do.

...2 year exit plan...
Whenever a NBA (or NFL for FB) coach works out for a college team, it is likely to stimulate interest in other such potential hires. Some of these are actually good coaches while many appear only able to just put already talented players on the court (or field) and hope for the best. So much depends upon their own ability and their choices of talented assistant coaches as well as who they can recruit (or draft). Some drafted "Peyton Mannings" while some drafted "Ryan Leafs".

Is that why Nick Saban went to Alabama after getting canned by the Dolphins?

The success of Nick Saban at Bama may be one of several reasons why Michigan hired their new FBHC. Are there others?
Don't feed the pigeons.

There a literally no others, in the history of football.

Also, harbaugh being a Michigan guy, and having great success at Stanford and San Francisco had nothing to do with his hiring. It is all because of Saban.
