Being reported by multiple outlets...
Assumed he would be gone. Kind of thought he may wait it out a bit to see what other jobs come open.
That's was obviously been set up for some time. you don't get a new job less than two days after you lose your last game.

So SFA won't have their coach or their star player when we travel there next year. I guess some here will say Haase got another lucky win if we win.
I'm a little surprised TCU didn't go after him. I'd consider OSU a better job.
OSU is a damn good job. That should be a great hire for them, too.
Damn that's gotta hurt for SFA. Only a day after they lose too...

Painful yes, but what he accomplished probably made the hiring of the next coach much easier. The schools AD likely has a short list of coaches in his top desk drawer right now.

The G5 conferences continue to act as a coaching farm system for the P5 schools.

Why would TCU had gone after him when they landed Jamie Dixon who I believe is a very good coach from a power conference? OK State is the higher profile job but TCU has some great talent returning next season, their boosters has deep pockets, and he won't be under any pressure to win big right away.
