Robert tonight. I think AJ's last game was a career high. I think he had 32.

It's heartbreaking watching them do everything they can to extend their careers.

UAB has had some great players who give their all.

None of them are quitters. And **** anyone who says they are.
RB's last shot as a Blazer was a made 3.

Brown definitely did not quit. He's the one guy on the whole team who really came to play in both of these games.

None of them quit. Players have bad games. Sometimes other teams just play better. It doesn't mean they quit.
Sometimes your team doesn't get off the bus in the post season too. I guess that's ok

Agreed.

Unfocused? Sure. No one wants to end up playing in the NIT. Calling folks quitters is disrespectful, though.
I'll clarify. It looked like they quit in the first half. They played very well for 10 minutes in the second half.

It only looked like they quit to a certain segment of fans.
Quit, didn't care, unfocused, bad game. It's all semantics and irrelevant what someone wants to call it. The point isn't what you call it. The point is that there has to be more passion and focus if you want to win big games against good opponents.

Robert Brown did a phenomenal job in this game and throughout his career. He will be sorely missed next year.

Yep.

Take bad shots? Sometimes. Get sloppy with the ball? Sure. Miss gimmes? Unfortunately. Lose your man on D? Sadly.

Quitters? Nope.
Sometimes you just run into a better team on a certain day, in higher elevation too. Great teams don't lose to wku twice in a season. We are very close, but for whatever reason weren't quite there this year. I'm hoping this game leaves a bitter taste for every player we have coming back. We were a team full of juniors and sophomores this year. Next year it's put up or shut up time. This includes Haase.
Robert Brown will always be one of my favorite UAB players.
The leadership and work ethic RB put into the program during his transfer sit-out year will go largely unheralded, but he helped rebuild this program at a time we needed it the most.

This. We had a laptop-tossing, Kiwi-smacking cancer in the locker room. Brown was the needed botanical antidote.
McKinley Singleton , obviously

Maybe Tracy Foster.

AJ, you stated already.
Back on track, I wanna say AJ scored 39 in his next-to-last game vs ECU when we were the 1 seed in El Paso.

Aaron Johnson?

AJ left his last game with 6 points and a broken leg.
Ok, my memory is getting bad. AJ's last game wasn't his career high. He only had 6 against Clemson in the NCAA tourney. But the previous game in the CUSA tournament loss, he had 39, not 32. Still a great effort, trying to save the season.
Damn. Singleton's mark came against this same bunch 32 years ago yesterday.
