I was thinking what a sweet deal it would be if they got two big recliner chairs and put them on the 50 yard line. (No not on the field) Then each game draw a name out from the season ticket holders. Only season ticket holder would be eligible. Wonder how many more. If any season tickets would be sold.
I also though they should raffle off a helmet with the Rocket and Toledo on it. Or maybe game Jerseys.
sounds like your at one helluva Super Bowl party.
At first I thought, "dumb." Then I started to see the vision. Most season ticket people just like their seats I suspect. They grow attached. Well, I know I do. But imagine two lazyboys (with coolers and attendants to run get things), 50 yd line, slightly elevated or something. Could be cool.
How about doing more for the casual fan who aren't able to go to all of the home games!
They can get their own lazyboy.

Not sure what you're asking for here? Not being able to go to all the home games never stopped me from getting season tickets so I don't get the connection. What sort of things should be/can be done for those casual fans?
Seems to me years ago I saw on a 6:00 news or sports broadcast showing somewhere that was doing this. Or maybe I'm just getting old and senile. But I do know that UT is always trying to be number one in everything. Imagine watching ESPN and the camera swings around shows two guys all dressed in Midnight Blue & Gold sitting back with their feet up with a hotdog and Miller Lite.
or a $7 tiny slice of congealed pizza.
Kansas has something like this in one end zone. I think they are extra-expensive seats, but not as much as a luxury box would cost. I'd guess other places do somewhat similar things.

BG used to have some ratty recliners at Anderson and if you won a drawing or something you got to sit in the crappy chairs up in that weird end zone plateau and lackeys brought drinks and food.
