Dirk Williams turned things around academically, returned home to shine for UAB

I've been worried a great deal about who steps into the void Robert leaves next year. I worry less and less with every game I see Dirk play.
Drew must have forgotten Jakorie Tyler
Who?
And chris cokley last year, instant scoring.

I don't even see where he would fit in the story. Explain.
He's UAB's fifth-leading scorer at 8.6 points per game despite coming off the bench in all but one of UAB's 23 games. Williams is the highest leaper on the team and is really Haase's first instant-offense player off the bench that he's had in his four years at UAB.

Fyeah, I agree. Jekore Tyler was pretty great off the bench. Too bad it didn't work.
I miss the Dancing Je'kore video. Je'kore, not so much.
All three have comparable numbers

Hasse first yr Tyler
Hasse second yr
Hasse third yr Cokley
Hasse fourth yr Dirk

Looks like the last two both should be starters.

Looking at our record, seems what he's doing is just fine. It's not like starters matter anyway.

You do realize Cokley has been starting recently, correct? I would think if Cokley had an issue he would have told Haase when he asked him straight up. Maybe Dirk is relishing his role. He comes in with some second stringers and is the first option perhaps? I know you can't be rational about anything Haase does at this point, but it's gonna be okay.

Jekore Tyler lol

Let's talk about hoopy while we are at it. He was the best pg we never had.
Jekore wasn't even that good

You're right. I had him confused with Terrence Roderick, but that was Davis era.

Speaking of..., I didn't realize that Jones is starting point guard for SEMO. Third leading scorer on the team, which isn't that good (5-19)

I said both should start didnt point anyone out specifically. Who knows i not around the team but maybe u r. Maybe Dirk is relishing his role maybe not, but i dont know many who would relish in coming off the bench to a guys with less stats in more minutes that is huge of Dirk being first or second option off the bench. You dont know me or anything about thee and hopefully Haase gets UAB in the big dance would be a huge letdown to be in the nit.

Tyler was his best player year one hands down.

And the best pg ive seen in green and gold is...

Squeaky duh
Hoopy
Quincy
Ovie

All have had decent endings to their college careers. Only one missing is Herb.

What do those guys have in common?

If being the third best scorer on a five win team is a decent ending, I guess.

Ovie had a decent ending to his career, but was still on a horrible team.

No one who has left Haases team early has moved on to something better.

These are the players who have left early under Haase for whatever reason. Soko and Herb Harrison left before playing for Haase.

Jerkore Tyler - dismissed from team
KC Whitaker - career ending injury
Isaiah Jones - transfer to JC, then to SeMo
Quincy Taylor - transfer to Longwood
Thaddeus Rideau - transferred to Midwestern State
Chad Frazier - left team rather than sit out a semester suspension for domestic violence - playing overseas
Jarvis Calhoun - transferred. Unknown location
