I listened to the crappy beginning of our game and heard the final crappy 3-4 minutes as well. Anything in between must have been uninspiring as well. We blew a great chance. I hope this is the last we endure of crappy performances ( such as the one against Illinois and then last night).
The middle wasn't so great, either. We had a nice 9-0 run to close out the half, and then just tread water in the second half. We had literally at least 5 or 6 possessions to take the lead, but either missed multiple shots or had terrible turnovers.
The more I think about this game the more frustrated I am. This was just a totally uninspired performance. WKU didn't play way over our heads. We mostly beat ourselves.
